The 4-member German delegation had an in-depth talk with Xuchang University and Xuchang Vocational and Technical College on vocational education cooperation on April 9.

The 4 delegation members include: Mr. Rudolf Scharping, Former Federal Minister of Defense of Germany; Dr. Christian überall, Professor of Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences; Prof. Dr. Ralph Stengler, President of Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences; Andreas Peilke, Director of Further Education Academy of ERFURT Education Center.

During the talk, Mr. Yue Xiufeng, president of Xuchang University, mentioned that there was still much room for local colleges to learn from Germany in training and cultivating applied talents. He wished to maintain frequent exchanges and communications with German partners to push forward substantial progress for bilateral cooperation.

A Memorandum of Understanding on students’ exchange and teachers’ training program was signed by Xuchang University and Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences at the talk.
