On May 19th, Mr Shi Genzhi, Mayor of Xuchang, went to the Pearl River Delta to invite investment, during which he paid an official visit to ANDRITZ (China) Ltd. and conducted in-depth communication regarding future cooperation. Mme Zhao Shuhong, Vice Mayor of Xuchang, and Mr Zhang Weiwei, Vice Chair of Political Consultative Conference of Xuchang and Director General of Xuchang Commerce Bureau, attended the meeting. Wen Jing, Chief Financial Officer, and Marian Schapek, General Manager Separations of ANDRITZ (China) Ltd. accompanied.
ANDRITZ Group is a global leading supplier of plants, equipment, and services for hydropower stations, pulp and paper industry, metalworking and steel industries, and for solid/liquid separation in the municipal and industrial sectors. Headquartered in Graz, Austria, ANDRITZ (China) Ltd. is one of its major international branches. During the economy and trade cooperation trip to Austria, Shi Genzhi visited the headquarter on-site.
Shi Genzhi made a brief introduction to Xuchang and its economy and social development. He said, “Xuchang is a city full of openness and vitality. Lots of German and European corporations have set up close cooperation with the city in recent years. The city has now become a model for Henan-Germany (Europe) cooperation. Xuchang and ANDRITZ share a lot in common in equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environment protection. More enterprises will be invited to invest in an open Xuchang. We will further encourage and support corresponding local corporations to conduct projects with ANDRITZ and achieve win-win cooperation.”
Wen Jing responded, “Xuchang is a livable city with distinctive industrial features. We will step up communication with companies like Henan Dazhang Filter Equipment Co., Ltd. in Yuzhou to enhance friendship and deepen our cooperation.”
Shi Gengi visited the hydropower, pulp and paper, recycled resources, and solid/liquid separation plants at ANDRITZ to gain an insight into the visual production management of plants and digital manufacturing modules.
