During the 8th CIIE, Xuchang hosted 12 thematic industrial promotion activities covering Cao Wei culture, traditional Chinese medicine industry, the Airport-Front Zone high-end manufacturing industrial park, and the silicon-carbon new materials industry..., comprehensively showcasing the city's distinctive elements and demonstrating its commitment to opening-up.

At the "Cao Wei Culture" themed promotion activity of Weidu District, centered on "cultural tourism consumption", a live performance "Crossing Five Passes and Slaying Six Generals" was staged at the CIIE, transporting the audience back to "The Three Kingdoms". The launching ceremony of "Cao Wei · 187: Travel Back to the Three Kingdoms Cao Wei Ancient City" was also held on site. Weidu District aims to build a nationally renowned Three Kingdoms culture-themed experiential block and a new highland for the integration of culture, commerce and tourism.

At the Yuzhou City promotion event centered on the “Central Plains Health Valley,” officials elaborated on the development of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) industry. Leading enterprises such as Henan Huaxia Medicinal Materials Co., Ltd. showcased their star TCM products.     

Under the theme of "Collaboration on New Quality Productive Forces," the Xuchang Investment Group presented its core strengths in industrial layout, technological innovation, and investment operations during the investment promotion event for cooperative projects. The Group also organized a dedicated roadshow to align investment needs with specialized funds. By elucidating the fund operation mechanisms and investment strategies, the event aimed to attract high-quality investors to establish a presence in Xuchang.

Xuchang enterprises participating in the promotion activities said that through those activities, with the help of the CIIE, an international platform, more domestic and foreign enterprises have understood Xuchang's characteristic industries, expanding the market space for the development of Xuchang enterprises.
