On March 17, the 29th China International Food Additives and Ingredients Exhibition (FIC2026) & the 26th China International Agrochemical and Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC2026) opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). During the event, Xuchang has seized the opportunity to promote its food and agriculture industries to go global. As a core activity of the Xuchang Pavilion during the event, the "Xuchang City Food and Agricultural Trade and Investment Cooperation Promotion Conference" was held on the same day, attracting over 40 domestic and international guests from countries such as Australia and Ireland.

At the promotion conference, representatives from the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, the Investment Group, and Jian'an District introduced Xuchang's advantages in the food and agricultural industries, the development of the Xuchang (Shanghai) Science and Technology Innovation Center, and key projects such as the Xuchang Green Soybean Products Industrial Park. These presentations highlighted Xuchang's investment potential and cooperation opportunities in food processing, modern agriculture, and technological innovation.

Xuchang had a strong presence at the exhibition. Five local companies set up independent booths in the main exhibition hall, covering a total area of 153 square meters. Among them, Henan HDF Chemical Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in the domestic agrochemical sector, participated in the exhibition for the 11th consecutive year. Additionally, 18 companies showcased their products at the Xuchang Pavilion, with exhibits covering agrochemicals, food additives, food ingredients, health foods, and food packaging. A special exhibition area for time-honored agricultural brands was also set up, featuring 14 local heritage enterprises, highlighting Xuchang's profound agricultural culture and brand legacy.

The three-day exhibition will run until March 19. During the event, a series of supporting activities, including the Food Technology Innovation Development Forum and New Product and Technology Release Conferences, will provide additional platforms for exhibitors to exchange ideas and explore cooperation opportunities.
