11月22日，许昌市副市长赵淑红会见来许进行经贸考察的德国联邦国会议员扬·温泽尔·施密特一行，就深化双方务实合作进行交流。市商务局局长郑璐、示范区管委会主任冉高磊、福通控股集团董事长赵天星陪同考察并介绍了相关情况。

On November 22, Zhao Shuhong, the vice mayor of Xuchang People's Government, met with the trade and ecnomic delegation led by German federal parliament member Jan Wenzel Schmidt and exchanged views on deepening practical cooperation between the two sides. Zheng Lu, Director of the Commercial Bureau of Xuchang, Ran Gaolei, Director of the Management Committee of the Demonstration Zone, Zhao Tianxing, the Chairman of Futong Group also accompanied the delegation.

赵淑红向扬·温泽尔·施密特一行的到来表示欢迎，并介绍了许昌经济社会发展情况。许昌市历史文化悠久、交通区位优越、生态环境宜居、工业特色鲜明、发展活力充沛，是河南省重要的工业城市和产业基地，是中国重要的电力装备、电梯、汽车零部件、发制品、人造金刚石生产基地和再生资源回收利用基地。近年来，许昌市始终坚持制度型开放，创造性开展对德合作，先后吸引德国百菲萨、欧绿保、普赫姆等一批国际知名企业来许投资兴业。希望双方进一步加深了解，促成更多务实交流合作成果。

Mrs. Zhao Shuhong expressed warm welcome to Jan Wenzel Schmidt and his delegation, and introduced the economic and social development of Xuchang. Xuchang has a long history, superior transportation location, good ecological environment, distinctive industrial features and robust development vitality. Xuchang is an important industrial city and industrial base of Henan Province. It's also China's important production base of electrical equipment, elevators, auto parts, hair products, artificial diamonds and renewable resources. In recent years, Xuchang vigorously advanced opening up, creatively engaged in cooperation with Germany, and attracted investments from the global leading enterprises, such as Befesa Group, ALBA Group and Purem by EBERSP？CHER. She hoped that both sides further deepen mutual understanding and promote more practical exchanges and fruitful results.

扬·温泽尔·施密特表示，此次之行，深刻感受到了许昌市良好的营商环境和务实重干的企业家精神。中德合作历史悠久，空间广阔。希望以此次考察为契机，进一步加强与许昌市的产业、战略对接，实现双方互利共赢。

Jan Wenzel Schmidt thought highly of the good business environment and pragmatic entrepreneurship of Xuchang. The Sino-German cooperation has a long history and broad prospect. He hoped that both sides enhance business talk to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.

座谈期间，市商务局介绍了许昌的营商环境和跨境电商产业发展情况。福通控股集团董事长赵天星介绍了许昌中德科技园建设情况。

During the meeting, the representatives from Commercial Bureau of Xuchang introduced Xuchang’s business environment and cross-border e-commerce. Zhao Tianxing , president of Futong Group, introduced the development history of Sino-German(Xuchang) Science Park.

在许期间，扬·温泽尔·施密特一行还实地参观考察了许昌市规划展览馆、中德科技园、德仕堡生活广场、河南黄河旋风股份有限公司。
